Well what a disappointing way to end the month with the Backs, so many in the last 2 days that have been 2nd by short distances. Only the second time we have finished negative with the Back Bets albeit only 0.31 points.
On the bright side the Lays have performed reasonably well this month ending up with a profit of 15 points, we normally like to see then around the 20 mark.
End of the month with a combined profit of +14.69 which is not bad considering the time of year and change over to the jumps.
We start the new month on Sunday and put this behind us.

Another good day at the office today. 50 % on the backs and the first lay was beaten into 2nd place. We could still hit the 12 points with 2 days to go.
With both systems we are 21.69 points up this month.
Hi everyone, quite a good start to the week with a 50% success on the Backs and a nice profit on the day.
We are now sitting at 8.23 points on the Backs and 11 points on the Lays. A few days left in the month so still time to hit the 12 points for the month.
A nice profitable day with the Back winning and the first Lay coming in for us ( I think he was last , well he was when I stopped watching ).
Another positive week overall with us finishing the week on 16.33 points overall. Most of these points are from the Lays but as everyone knows, it only takes a few Backs to come in one after the other and we will have hit our 12 point target for the Backs and still potential to make a bit more on the Lays.
We must be patient at this time of the year, as we have said on a number of occasions. Things WILL get better as our previous results have shown.

Hi, well a bit of an up and downer today with the Lay being a positive result and now standing at 10 points for the month.
The Backs are being a bit irregular at the moment and is expected this time of year, but atleast we are still in front . Lets hope we can end this week on a high tomorrow.
Well what a difference a day makes. Although the Backs were not as good as they could have been, with both the losing horses rearing up in the stalls before the off and giving the others a head start. At least we have pulled back the Lays to get back on track.
So halfway through the week and 13.8 points to the good.
Well our only back of the day won, but the favorite ran out, who knows what would have happened. However we will take the win, I am sure it evens itself out in the end.
Todate this month we are 15.84 points up on both systems. 8.84 up on the backs and 7 up on the lays.
Hopefully another good day and we will get past the 12 point mark on the backs.
Some days are down and more days are up. A nice set of results for us with a positive result of 2.48 points on the day, and a total of 8.48 including the Lays.
It is just a shame that we have not had any Lays for a while. As we said this morning we cannot remember the last time we have gone this long without a selection.

What a day, one getting beaten on the nod into second, one leaving it just too late for the charge to line coming third and the last being beaten by a 20/1 shot.
We do have spells such as these and as we know this is a time of year too be careful, but with our selections we are still up on the month and with the Lays even more so.

Good evening, a hard day at the office today with the first race only managing second after running out of steam, the second race our horse had it in the bag but hit the last fence hard which cost him the race. We won the third even after interference from a loose horse and the last race again ran out of steam.
Never mind only 0.9 of a point down, we should pull that back tomorrow.
I apologise for the database but it was a result of the problem this morning when the broadcast failed to give the last two Early prices. Should be sorted tomorrow.
The horse that just I mention this morning that was not included for fairness came first. Aint that the way.
Another positve day for us on the Back bets with a 50% strike rate, and the other two only just missed out by a short head and 1 length respectively.
We are now sitting with 6 points on the Lays and 4.7 points on the Backs. Our Backs target as you know is 12 points and we are hoping to achieve that by the end of the week, not much pressure then!!!!

A bit of an up and down week really but still in profit thanks to the Lays. As we said earlier this time of the year is always a little unpredictable with the end of the flat season and start of the jumps.
No matter, only a little down on the Backs, which will not take much to turn around and quickly hit the 12 point barrier.
We do not have selections on Saturdays as the markets are totally unpredictable and from experience do not conform to any systems that we have monitored.

Well 3 out of 7 was not as good as we had hoped (43%), with the last horse not doing anywhere his best. Still we made a profit today and clawed our way back to -1.7, which is still a positive position for both Lays & Backs. With the Backs it doesn't take long to recover a small loss and thats exactly what we intend to do.
Unfortunately there were no Lays today so lets hope for a good run tomorrow.
Apologies for the Database problems that we have been experiencing recently, this has been due to small programming problems that we thought had been ironed out, only to raise their ugly heads when we went live. We are pretty sure that we have solved them now.

Well the backs did not go to plan infact they were very dissapointing today not even close. However it is early days into the month and we are only 3.16 points down.
If you are running both the Lay and the Backs then you are slightly ahead for the month. The test will be where we are at the end of the month.
Due to a bereavement the next selections will be Thurs.
