Good afternoon a bit of a damp squib instead of a big bang. However we are over 18 points up on the month so not to bad. A new start to the month on Sunday.

Another day with a slight loss, not good enough. It is not often that even when our selections are beaten that the get place 8th!!! As I said yesterday it is historically a difficult time of year when we have alot of untried horses. Never mind we are still in profit and those of you trading should still have made a few quid.
On to tomorrow and lets see if we can turn it around for the end of the week.
Well what can we say, 1 out of 4, not brilliant by any means but we were very disappointed with DONNA ELVIRA who had a terrible race. TASTE THE VICTORY was unlucky aswell but thats the way the cookie crumbles sometimes, at least we only dropped 0.4 points and as we know we can pull that back in the blink of an eye.
Those of you who were trading must have made a bit, hope so.

Our only back of the day was called a non runner, however both our lays were beat into 2nd place. We hope those that do the lays took full advantage although our watch word was safety.
We had a pretty mediocre day today with the loss of about 0.8 point overall. Shame the first selection didn't do a bit better but thats water under the bridge.
Tomorrows another day so lets try and finish the week with a bang.
Well what another brilliant day with the first Lay going down ( the 2nd went down aswell) and 5 out of 6 Backs coming in for us, shame the 3rd Back selection came 2nd, never-mind.
That gives us a nice return of over 8 points or some pretty good trading if that was what you did.
How the good run continues so we can make hay whilst the sun shines ( What sun, never-mind you know what I mean )
Now wasn't that worth waiting for. 2 days with no selections then a nice 100% with 2 low priced, by our standards, and a maximum 4 on Betfair giving us 5.12 points for the day.
We have exceeded our 12 point target, so for those of you who have been with us along time will already know what your doing. For the benefit for the new members and those who have joined in the last few months what happens now is up to you. We obviously carry on selecting horses but we have said in our introduction to the system we normally stop when the day ends 12+. There are plenty of trading opportunities if your at the computer or carry on backing and either leave it on or trade out in running. The choice really is up to you.
Those who have only JUST joined will probably want to continue.
Lets hope we can continue in the vein we are in now ................
Good day today with the first Lay being beaten, as were the others, but we were done and dusted after the first. The only Back of the day has just won and given us a 2.7 point profit.
So overall on the Backs for the week we have put 11.51 points and 4 points on the Lays. Not a bad set of results for us and so lets crack on next week and get some more on the board.
The Lays did it again on the first time of asking putting us on a very nice 10 points for the month so far and the Backs did give us nearly a point after we had a non runner and an abysmal last race after not one but two jockey changes resulting in a very mediocre run from, by that time , an odds on favourite.
Never mind its still a profit, standing at 6 1/2 points at the moment. So lets finish the week in style and get some good results in tomorrow................
Another good day for us with the first Lay going down and our Backs winning. Okay I know 1 was only 1/2 point, so effectively we had a loser aswell ( or 1/2 loser ), we really couldn't split them although first thoughts were for Deidre, honest, but we thought it was safer to do a 1/2 point on both horses, it doesn't happen very often.
It gives a 2 point increase on the Backs and another 1 point on the Lays so all in all not a bad at all.
Lets keep it going on tomorrow....................
No Lays today but a sack full of Lays, and a 50% strike rate giving us a healthy 4.15 points profit on our early prices. Some of you got better prices, lucky you. We have said many times that we just stick to the early price that we publish in the morning, sometimes these will shorten and sometimes lengthen, swings and roundabouts.
Anyway we must all be happy that we are now in profit with the Backs and now aim to blast through the 12 point target.
Lets hope tomorrow carries on the way of today.....................
Not a bad day at the office. Okay, we had to wait for the third Lay before we could put it to bed, the first 2 being no bets due to over 20% of the book being non-runners. Anyway it came 2nd so we are another point up.
The Backs did alright giving us a 2 point profit on the day, shame the last came 2nd, but lets not be greedy, As I said this morning , it doesn't take long to recover a small deficit on the Backs.
Overall a fair end to the week and lets hope next week improves our position. Till Sunday ...................
A pretty rubbish day on the Backs, some real shockers. Nevermind we know it doesn't take long to turn that around. It is a problem with the end of September and early October with the start of a new season.
The Lays were OK with the first declared a non runner then the second being well beaten so all not gloom and doom.
Lets see if we can end the week on a high tomorrow, you can be assured we will be trying our utmost to achieve it. Until then............................
I thought we were going to have a good day today after the win on the second race but alas not to be. The lay came in for us again but the rest of the backs were not very good.
There was an error on the aol system today, also I have put the last back on the system twice this will be sorted out tomorrow.

Bit of a mixed day today with the first Lay coming in for us, as did all the other Lays as it happened, but the real disappointment was our Back. The price came into 1.79 before the off from 3.55 when we broadcast it this morning, and ended up running a very dismal race.
Never mind, an overall profit for the day so lets look forward to a better day tomorrow.
Well at least we have made a start to the month. The Lays came in for us on the first race, even so all three of the other Lays all went down aswell. The Backs brought us back into a positive position even though one was beaten into 2nd place.
It all bodes well for the rest of the week so heres hoping...............

Getting the selections at the moment, especially the Backs seems quite an ordeal with hardly any coming into our criteria, and as you know we do not just put them in for the sake of it. Lets hope we can have a few more tomorrow.
