Well thats November over, and we ended up in profit, albeit only a small one but its better than a loss. For those of you following the Lays then they ended up over 8 1/2 points up aswell so all in all both in profit.
Lets hope December turns out a better month and gives us some nice returns.

What can I say!! So unlucky with 2 or 3 of our selections getting pipped at the end. So frustrating, today we had 1 win 3 seconds a third and 1 donkey. With the last selection COUNT OF ANJOU getting bounced on the line put paid to us making a small profit. It could have been so different if a couple of the other 2nds came in but thats racing.
Tomorrow is another day and all we need is a little luck to go our way and we could pull some points back.
Well thats another rubbish day with some pretty abysmal racing for us. 2 points down, for the day although the Lay was comprehensively beaten.
We will try our best, as always, tomorrow to try and recover some of the losses from the last 2 days and put us in a better frame of mind. At least we are still in profit.
A bit of a neutral day all round with the Lay coming in for us and the Backs ending 0.4 points down. We were a bit unlucky with the first 2 selections coming 2nd with VICO trading at 1.1 before being beaten at the post. Some members have said that they put in a trade out bet of around 1.15 - 1.1 in case of this eventuality, for a slightly reduced return in the event of a winner it does sometimes protect their stake if the the case of VICO happens. Umm something to think about.
Lets try and end the week in a good position and get a nice positive return. Till then...................
Well at least we had our winner with the only selection today taking us to 8.52 points. It is still only the 16th of the month and as we said before November is always a hard month.
Anyway lets hope tomorrow gives a few more selections with the right outcome. Till then................
Quite a nice day today we have now got to 7 points profit, it may not sound much but we are only on the 13th of the month, and we just go about our business and add a bit of profit and it soon adds up.
Although we dont have a lay account now we are in profit there aswell.
Not a bad recovery after an unlucky start. The first selection looked beaten but was thrown a life line 3 out when the leader fell. Even though he struggled over the fence it looked like he had it in the bag and his price dropped to 1.02 on betfair and then the jockey was unseated and suitable embarrassed, Still at least the last 2 brought us back to give us just under a point for the day.
All the Lays went down today as well so quite a result all around.
Last day of the week tomorrow so lets try and end on a high....................
Well another fairly neutral if not frustrating day. The Lay was well beaten and we ended up slightly on the Backs. Having watched the first selection, COCOA KEY, I felt here we go again. He was in such a strong position, really looking good then ploughs into the fence and fell. Well as we have said before, thats racing, but please give us a break. Maybe tomorrow will give us a bit of a boost.
It could have been a great day today, however it was a steady 1.5 points up, the last couple of weeks we have had a lot of 2nd places . we just dipped into profit today and then just dropped again.
Our back came 2nd today but it was well beaten - lets see if we can burst into profit during the week. We are still only 2.84 points down on the month.
Another positive, albeit frustrating day, with just under a point profit on the Backs. We are slowly working our way back into profit but it does seem to be taking a while. We do know that this time of year in inherently difficult as we have said before, but steady does it.
A little more pulled back today with a profit of 1.65 points. We really could have expected another couple of points if the first selection had not fallen when looking quite handy. Nevermind that horse racing for you.
Only a few points adrift at the moment to get into profit and as we all know it doesn't take much to pull that around. So on to tomorrow..............................
Not the greatest of starts but it can turn around very quickly, and it usually does so don't depair. I thought our second was unlucky and had every chance when he fell, but thats the breaks in jump racing, so untill tomorrow ...........................
