Well not a bad day to finish on with a small profit of 1.31 on the Backs. No idea what happened to KINGHAM in the last, he just seemed to run out of puff.
Anyway a successful month with the Backs reaching the target by the 17th of the month, and continuing to go on from there with good trading chances or free bets opportunities. The Lays did their bit giving us a healthy profit of 16 points, which is not bad for February with terrible weather at the beginning, blimey seems a life time ago when we were struck by the worst snow in a decade.
Overall a profit of 30.31 points for the month combined, not bad.
We start the new on Sunday and lets hope we can carry on making profits as we have in the past.
Don't forget on Sunday morning 'White Rabbits' 3 times...................
Well the Lays are certainly doing it at the moment with ours put to bed after the second race. At the time of writing this only the first Lay came first, can't be bad...
The Backs on the other hand had a fairly neutral day with only 1 winning, 2 seconds and a 4th but only 0.95 of a point down. We are sure there were plenty of opportunities for some trading or even free bets, with a reduced return but hey its a free bet.
Hope we can do better tomorrow on the Backs and lets hope for another Lay and try for one last point, unfortunately, being February we cannot hit 20 points which would have been nice.
Both the backs came second which is a bit frustrating however the lays came in today to give us 15 points and the backs are now 14.26 which is a healthy 29.26 points up.
Sorry folks its 'one of those days' when nothing went right for us. The lay won by a neck. However over 20% of the book had withdrawn and in a small field I think that hurt us. We are considering making future lays a no bet if more than 20% of the field are withdrawn. This can quite easily be done on GHB if you are using that system.
The 2 backs did not do the business today. Both 3rd - no good enough.
Not a bad day at the office, could have been better if the Backs had performed. The first hit the first fence and totally screwed him up and ended up being pulled up, the second won for us negating the lost point, the third Back looked as if he was getting tired but should have hung on but smacked the last fence and was past by 2 others and finally our last Back came in with a reasonable price and left us 1.55 points up on the day.
We had to wait for the second Lay before we were secured with our point, but not very high prices so well worth the wait. That gives us 2.55 points for the day and 31.26 points for the month.
We had a bit of a problem with our Broadcast Service this morning and the broadcast didn't get sent out until late on this afternoon so we hope you all recieved our E-Mail this morning.
Well not a bad week in all, we've hit our target on the Backs and the Lays keep on going on.
Today was a bit of a mixed bag, the Lays have increased by another point up to 12 points and the Backs with only a 25% success rate but only 0.6 points down on the day but still showing a healthy 17.71 profit for the month.
So here we are at the end of the week showing 29.71 points up, not bad eh..........
As the title says 'another 100% day for us, and that takes the backs to over the 12 point target for the month. We will keep giving the selections, it is up to yourself whether you use them or not. Some people will and some people won't it is a personal thing.
The lay also lost for us again today which puts us 10 points up.
Lays have done it again giving us now 8 points for the month, the Backs doing okay with a 50% strike rate and increasing to wards out target and now sitting at 7.51.
Lets keep it going and hope for a good week.......
Bit of a disappointing set of Backs today, very disappointed with SILCA MEDAN, obviously something was seen at the track as his price drifted quite considerably.
The Lays on the other hand are still progressing nicely, todays was well beaten.
Again the weather has caused 2 meetings to be lost, really hope it picks up which will give us more of a choice when selecting our horses.
A bit of a disappointing day with our Back losing and our Lay winning. The Lay was a very short price and hasn't caused too much damage and we can certainly recover that without too much pain. Hopefully we will have more to look at tomorrow with some extra cards to examine.
Well what a day, the 2 Backs both came in first and gave us an end of week result of 7.26. Unfortunately the Lays let us down with the 1st declared as a non runner and the 2nd not only remaining a runner but a non runner in the race dropped the number down to 4. I say this because as I mentioned this morning we do not like Laying a horse when more than 20% of the bet is lost with non runners and we do not ever like Lays with less than 5 runners. It is something that could be up for discussion on the Blog site. Anyone with any views please feel free to put your comments on the Blog site, all views will be welcome.
Anyway not alot of damage with the Lay winning as it only dropped us by 0.5 points.
So onwards and upwards and hope the weather picks up next week........
Its a steady start to the month with the weather. We are up on both the backs and on the lays. It is always nice when we get a 4/7 shot beat to win the lay bets.
We are over 3 points up on the backs and 1 point up on the lays. Lets hope the weather improves in the near future.
Speak to you all tomorrow...........................................
This cold snap is really playing havoc with the racing with 2 more meetings lost today. We haven't had much to play with for the last couple of days, and along comes a nice horse that pressed all the buttons and he didn't perform at all. In fact it was an outsider of 12/1 that took it. Never mind as long as we can get some racing tomorrow we are sure we can put that right.
Well we had no Lays today but both our Backs came in first. We certainly hope that you were quick enough to get the early price on Madison Belle cos the price came in and out even up to 2.3 at one point, after the non runner was declared.
Lets hope we can keep up the momentum for the rest of the month.
