Not a bad end to the day and month with the only Back left winning. The other 2 were declared as Non Runners. Both the close Lays also lost ( sods law )
We finish the month with a healthy 11.18 points up on the Backs and 17 points up on the Lays giving us a nice 28.18 points for the month combined.
Lets go forward to next month and try and beat it.
Even though we only had 1 back today it won which is another 100% day.That leaves us 9.9 points up on the month. Last day of the month tomorrow lets try and hit the 12 point mark.
What a roller-coaster day, first we lose the first because the horse 'slipped' and fell, the second seemed to run out of puff with 30 yds to go came 2nd but reversed decision by Stewards put him first, ( after a lot of cursing by us after yesterday ). The the third waltzed it to put us 2.56 points up on the Backs.
The Lays did their thing even though the prices drifted before the off still came in after the ND race giving us another point making 16 for the month so far.
Overall we are now 21.58 points up on the month overall.
As most people didn't fill in the Poll on Monday we can only presume you are all Backing and Laying.
What a frustrating day, I'm a little hoarse ( excuse the pun ) after shouting at the TV after watching the first selection of the day being miles in front and 2.7 points under the belt and Betfair price down to 1.02 goes on to lose.
Then a couple of winners picked me up to be let down with some more losers that we thought were through but failed and finally again RED MAN had the race sorted, again shown by the Betfair price coming right down and again went on to come 2nd.
That puts us down 2.6 on the day, which although frustrating can be picked up and some in the next few days. Oh it could have been so different but thats racing...........
The Lays came in after the 3rd Race when the horse was pulled up putting us on 15 Points. Unfortunately the same thing happened to the Back, getting pulled up and the Jockey jumping straight off so something was very wrong. Well thats racing.
Well we had a 50% strike rate today, thought it could have been better after the first 2 came in first and the second 2 came in 2nd. Never mind we are 2.46 points up on the day.
That makes up to over 20 points up on the month so far so lets keep our chins up.
Unlucky with the second back today, beaten by a neck. The first ran poorly. Good news on the lay front, aother point in the bank after the first lay fell.

Well a bit of a mixed day, the Lays did us proud again eventually, but the Backs were a bit of a disappointment. I thought Onemix would be a good banker but not to be coming second.
Never mind tomorrows another day, speak to you then........
Keeping the winning streak going is always nice and today we put 4.4 points onto the Backs, now standing at 6.6 and another point on the Lays now at 9 points.
So we are a healthy 15.6 combined points up for the month so far, so lets hope we can keep it up.
A very nice start to the week with 3 out of 3 on the Backs giving us a nice 4.4 points profit on the day. We are now sitting with 10.1 points up when combined with the Lays.
So lets keep the momentum rolling for the week............
Very disappointing day today when 2 of the backs just did not do it. One pulled up as something was clearly wrong very early in the race and one of the other did not do anything!! So we ended the day just over 0.5 points down on the day.
On the layfront there was again a 20% reduction on the book and the lay went on and won. Again a decision on this will be made soon.
At last we had a chance to put the Lays back on track after having a couple of days with no selections. Anyway we have pulled them back to +7 points for the month.
A good result with our Back winning with quite good odds for us and reduced the deficit to -4.75, a bit to go yet but its a start and we are overall in profit for the month.
What a frustrating day for us with the first selection being clear and BF price down to 1.06 and still lost, theres no justice!! The second selection just never got into it really and the last, well, made a bid then fell away.
Sorry about that but as we all know from experience we can turn that around fairly quickly, so stay focused.
Only one Back raced today as the other was declared a non-runner. Fortunately the Back won for us and clawed back a little of the negative position that we are in. We hope that next week will run better for us and get us into profit, with all the near misses that we had last week a little fortune in our favour can make such a difference.
The Lays both came first which was a little unfortunate, in the first race the main contender fell at the first fence and in the second race the main contender was withdrawn just before the off. Unlucky but we are sure we will pull that back.
What a yuk day, 1 back was a non runner, 1 back fell at the first and the other back fell at the second. There is nothing we can do to legislate for that. Sorry folks.

Again a close day with 2 seconds and 1 first on the backs. The lay came in for us again today 5 points up on the month. We must make an apology with the price of FANTASTIC DUBAI yesterday it should have read 2.2 not 3.05 as was on the site.
This month we have been very close with only 2 horses that have not been placed so we are not far from a run of winners, hopefully tomorrow.
Quite a frustrating day really, lost by a nose on one, pulled up on another and won on the last one. Which put us up a tiny amount for the day on the backs.
We won the point on the first lay of the day. So we were up 1 and a bit on te day.

Well the bad weather arrived as predicted, a shame the Backs didn't perform as well. I felt OUR BOMBER HARRIS was a little unfortunate but the 2nd THEY ALL LAUGHED was a terrible race and certainly nothing to laugh at. The rest is history so lets pick ourselves up and attack it again tomorrow.
The Lays did well for us with the whole being wrapped after the first race.
Not a bad day with the points putting us 4.36 up on the month so far.
The first Lay was one of those races that we have discussed before with 2 horses being declared non-runners and took out 30% of the book. Sometimes it goes for us and sometimes not. We are considering whether to introduce a rule that if 20% or more is declared non-runner then it is a 'no bet'. It can be done easily on GHB if you are using it. What do you all think? As far as the Backs are concerned RAINCOAT was interfered with by the eventual winner but we don't think he would have caught him. Never-mind we ended up in profit so we take that one on the chin.

As the heading suggests a nice steady start to the month with the lays comming in to give us our 1st point. With the nr on the backs our only other back came in at 1.14 points.
So the Grand Total for the month is 2.14 points up.
