The lay deficit is comming down, and the backs are still in profit although we had a bad day today. This is never a good time of the year but the good months are ahead of us.

Not a bad day today, the Lays was beaten into 3rd place and 50% of the Backs came in with a 2.45 point profit. Those of you trading should have also made a few points.
On to tomorrow and hopefully take another point off the Lay deficit.
Well the Lays are still reducing the deficit day by day. The Backs were a bit disappointing today with the first falling, not that he looked that strong, and a win and a lose on the last 2.
Not much else to say on that subject so lets hope for a more consistant day tomorrow.....
Good evening very close to being clean sweep today, but we got a second place to spoil the party. However we were up on the day which is a good thing. Lets keep the recovery going tomorrow.
As the caption says What A Day, After 8 Backs and only 3 winners we are still only 1/4 point down. For those of you who were trading on the Backs I hope you all made a few quid.
The Lay on the other hand, singular as the other 2 were declared non runners, gave us a good run for our money before coming 2nd to the eventual winner and helping us to claw our way back from the loss situation that we are in. Some astute members decided not to restart after the 4th loss on the Lays and persevered due to the low prices and are now sitting with a 13 point bank. Good for you.
Well its been a tough week so far and today was no different, ok we were only down 1/2 a point, but its still in the wrong direction, so lets hope we can turn it around tomorrow.
This time of year is always a time for care. The results have proved it is very hard. However as the season goes on the results will speakfor themselves.
Well another disappointing day with the Backs, just aswell we achieved our target early. There was still a bit of scope for those of you trading before the off. The Lay was well beaten into 5th place and hope fully we can make a dent into that deficit.
We must remember this time of year is the start of the Flat season and is historically a bit of a roller coaster so we just have to ride out the storm and as past form has shown we will end up in profit.
Well what a day. For only the 2nd time in our history we have struck 4 Lay winners on the bounce. Fortunately they were all fairly low priced and limits the damage. It is bound to happen every now and again and when all the previous profits are taken into it becomes less painful although frustrating and annoying. Some members carry-on Laying if the loss is less than 60 points and on the last occasion bounced back. We are looking at that by going through our previous records and will keep you all posted. Anybody with other ideas please feel free to air them on this blog site or E-Mail them to us, for instance double up ie 2 points till the end of the month or when back in profit.
On the other hand we had a good day on the Backs so those of you trading on them would have made a nice little profit.

Nice day today with 100% on the Backs and our Lay coming 2nd, giving us a 100% all round day.
We are now sitting on 22 points for the month combined and we have hit our target of 12 points for the month on the Backs and it is still only the 12th April.
Now as you know, we carry on giving you tips for the Backs and we record them, but as we have stated in our introduction page will not guarantee the outcome at the end of the month. As we have seen, and you can check our results, sometimes we can carry on up to 30+ points and sometimes lower. The choice is yours, we will obviously give selections using our method with the same meticulous effort.
The Lays will carry on as normal.
The next selections as stated this morning will be on Tuesday as Bank Holiday Mondays are as unreliable as Saturdays.
A very nice way to finish the week with a 100% return on the Backs giving us a healthy 4.25 points on the day. Unfortunately we just fell short of the 12 point target by 0.79 points. Never mind we will soon blast through that.
The Lay, that nearly was, was beaten. Hope you watched it.
There is no racing tomorrow so we will speak to you all on Sunday. There will be no selections on Easter Monday as we regards it like Saturdays, very very unreliable.
Good start with the backs then fell off. The lays came in for us so thats puts us up 13.96 points for the month. So until tomorrow...............................
The overall results today were most satisfying with an increase of 2.33 on the Backs and another point on the Lays. I feel we were unlucky on the first Lay that was declared a winner very quickly, which later proved to be correct by a short nose. For those of you who watched the race you must have felt as we did that we had a result, even the Betfair punters were backing the 2nd placed horse as the winner. The second Lay finished the day off for us with the Lays and gave us another point now standing at 6 for the month.
The first 2 Backs did the business for us and I thought we could go on and bust through the 12 point target but the interfered with odds on shot came third and the last came 4th, so that put paid to that.
Overall we are now 13.08 points up jointly for the month. Lets hope we can break through the 12 points tomorrow.
A steady start to the month we are 7.45 points up, which is ok. If the last back had come in we would have been well on our way, but he came a disapponting 5th.

A bit late getting the results updated and the Blog out but my 2 nephews came over and we had a few drinks which went on till quite late.
However we had a reasonable day yesterday with the Lay giving us our desired result after the first race, The Backs started off with an abysmal result from CROWN coming 5th, however the next 2 both came first giving us nearly 2 1/2 points, making 3 1/2 points on the day.
Well what can you say apart from 'what a terrible day must do better'. To be fair though alot of the horses out today were first timers and starting the new flat season we must be ready for a turbulent but still profitable time.
The Lays still okay with the first of the 3 selections giving us a positive result.
We are still up at the moment but we will endeavour to improve our position tomorrow.
Well we could have hardly asked for a better day and start to the month with 2 out of 3 Backs winning and the Lay winning for us ( just, but its about time the luck went our way ).
That puts us 4.05 combined points for us and a 1/4 of the way to our Backs target. Lets hope the results carry on our way and make it an easy month.
