Well not the end to the month that we would have liked but only a slight loss on the day.
Overall we did well on the Backs and slightly down on the Lays with an overall profit of +15.68 points. We hit our target of 12 early on in the month so for those who traded should have made a nice little profit on top. Those of you who carried on to the 24.39 points must be well pleased.
A new month on Sunday so lets try and have another successful month.

Not alot to say about todays results other than the first selections was a bit disappointing. We were justified with our reasoning about the 1750 at Stratford, they were both beaten in the end. Anyway nearly a point up on the day which is a profit all the same.
Lets hope tomorrow we can finish on a high........
What a wash out today was with the torrential non stop rain and Perth being abandoned and non runners all over the place.
Our first Lay selection became a NO BET because 28% + of the book were non runners, it came 2nd anyway, putting all our hopes on the next selection which alot of people were raving about. Anyway he was unplaced and so we recovered our point from yesterday and today bringing the Lays back to a more modest -8.71.
No Backs today so that about all. Lets hope for some tomorrow...........
Not a great day today the backs were pretty poor the only good bit was the only lay of the day was beat into 2nd place. Lets have a better day tomorrow.

Well not a bad week all in all and a nice way to finish with another point for the Lays and 1.94 for the Backs. Could have been better but musn't grumble, points are points.

As the title says a whole load of 2nd places unfortunately, but still only 3.2 points adrift after 6 selections. At least the Lay came 2nd as well so we are still reducing that deficit.
Mustn't grumble as we are still 26+ points up and those of you trading should have still made a little. Obviously you have to make the decision whether to pull out before the off if the horse price has drifted out or let it go in running and trade out when the price drops to a level that you want, always a risk but most times worth it.

What a good set of results for us today. 100% on the Backs giving us 9.05 points now up to 29.61 and the first Lay beaten into 3rd place recovering another point on the Lays.
It doesn't get much better than that does it. Those of you who are trading are still making some decent returns without the risk of losing.
Well not much to say today with the only Back coming 3rd and reducing our tally by 1 point. Those of you that are trading could have made a bit as the price dropped to around 2.7 on Betfair before the off.
Those of you following the Lays would have notice that although the Lays were just out of our range the first one that we were watching was beaten and therefore would have negated the others after giving us another point if we had been on it.
Well I think we were very unlucky with the Backs after the 2nd selection was beaten a photo by a flared nostril, officially a nose but I think that was very flattering. Anyway we ended up 0.4 points down.
The Lay came in for us again bringing the loss down a little bit more.
On to tomorrow and lets hope the luck goes with us.
Well we could not have asked for a better way to end the week. I thought things were going to go a little a wry after the first Back was a non runner then the first Lay became a non runner, here we go, but everything dropped into place.
The Lay came third and gave us another point leading onto the Backs which gave us 7.46 points.
Those of you who just did the trading still made a good few points if you had traded out before the off, so all in all everyone should be pleased with the outcome.

Well, another point recovered on the Lays, and a other few points on the Backs, unfortunately we had another non runner and loser, but at least 2 more winners.
No Lays today but a bagful of Backs with 1 non runner and 3 wins that has put us over the 12 point target and well over Malcolms 5 point suggestion. Okay it was a bit of a roller coaster at the beginning of the month but from about the 7th it has been a steady march forward. Well Done everybody.
Now what happens next, for the benefit of those recently joined us is your choice. Firstly sit back and wait for next month, not very adventurous, secondly Back the selections in the morning then trade out before the off, makes a nice little but safe profit overall or thirdly carry on Backing the selections as and when we issue them as normal.
Not many go for the first, obviously, and some go for the third which can bag quite a few extra points (look at the past records). It is not for us to tell you what to do, whatever it is good luck and speak to you all tomorrow.
The Lay came in for us again bringing another point down on the deficit.
The Backs were up by 0.2 points, not alot but at least positive, although I thought Swiss Art was going to get there but not quite, and with the last being a non runner meant it was pretty much neutral.
What a tough day both backs came 2nd by a head and half a length. These sometimes go for you and sometimes against you. However the lay clawed back another point.
So we finish the week just up on the backs and a good recovery on the lays.

Well very nearly a 100% day with the Lay giving us another point and 4 out of 5 of the Backs coming in and putting us into a positive position of 2.34 with a swing of 7.01 points for the day.
A very disappointing day but as we all know there are ups and downs, we have a lot of work to do but we are sure we can get us into profit soon. It does not take many winners to recover the few points we are down.
Firstly we would like to apologise for the delay in the Broadcast service. They underwent a huge upgrade on Sunday, not ready to launch, so we had to send out mails manually, phew that took some doing. Monday it worked, today there were problems at first then it worked but was delayed in being broad-casted. Our advice to you is if you do not receive the broadcast to your E-Mail address by around 1000 hrs then check the Members area. If you are running the GHB then hopefully you are loading automatically, those using other bots then the CSV file is still available from the Members area.
On to today, the Lay duly obliged even though everyone thought we were wrong, hence why it went off at 1.73 on Betfair. Still another point recovered.
The Backs were a bit up and down again but a 50% strike rate and nearly 2 points to the good. We will get there so keep on going.
The slow recovery continues on the Lays with another point recovered today.
The Backs again were very disappointing, with only 1 winning. I thought PLENTY OF CHAT had the race down the back straight and his price dropped to below 1.4 on Betfair but just seemed to run out of gas and came third.
We can and will turn it round so lets hope that starts tomorrow.

What a terrible day! Firstly the 2 backs were hammered and the best back of the day was a non runner. Secondly the lays all won!
However the last lay went off at a very low price because we lost 33.3 % of the book just after 3 pm, also the runners went under 5 which is our absolute min in lays, I dearly hope most of you left the last race alone, we must put it on the books as a nasty loss.
On a positive note it is only early in the month and we can recover from this.
What an odd day. Our Lay came in for us at the first time of asking, but the Backs had a very different day. We hoping for some good racing at Worcester but to be abandoned because of a shortage of on course water, what ever next. That took out 2 very good chances for the day. As for the rest 2 out of 7 isn't what we were looking for but only 1.23 points down wasn't that bad a result.
We will pick it up by the end of this week and hope to be on our way up.
