Hi and thanks for taking interest in my tipster blog, I try to deliver all my
important info and news via my blog so if you want to stay on top and get the
latest news as it happens then using my RSS feed is the best way!
You can download a completely free RSS reader from the following link
HERE, once you
have downloaded it just follow these easy steps and you'll be getting my updates
in no time at all.
1. When download has finished click open (if using IE) or run the setup
application from the directory you downloaded to.
2. Now you will have a language selector appear (see below) just select your
language and click ok
3. Now the FeedReader setup box will appear informing you that its about to
install FeedReader onto your computer (see below) just click next, then the user
agreement will appear just take your time to read it and ensure you are happy
with the terms, if so click "I accept the agreement" and click next.
4. The setup will now ask for you to select the installation directory if you
need to change it do so otherwise click next, now it will ask about setting up
start menu shortcuts just click next.
5. Now it will ask about additional icons, I would suggest un-ticking all
boxes here unless you want the icons but normally you wont need these as you can
set the program to automatically start with windows, after that click next.
6. The program will now present a confirmation screen to ensure you are happy
with your settings and should look something like this...
Just click Install and let the program run its course, when finished it will
automatically run the reader.
7. At first it will offer you a load of different news channels and other
bits unless you want them I would cancel out of this box.
8. Now you can add the blogs news feed by clicking "File" > "New" > "Feed"
and a box will appear at the top of the reader (see below)
9. Now just click back on this browser window and right click the RSS Feed
button (see below) and click "Copy Shortcut"
10. Now just paste that into the FeedReader add feed box and click ok.
That's it! Your now subscribed to the blog and each time I update you will
receive my latest news/info straight to your reader.
